Custom Shaker Kitchen & Cabinetry — Park City, UT
A Balanced Two-Tone Cabinet Design
The cabinetry combines a light white oak–inspired finish with deeper chocolate-toned sections. This contrast defines key zones without breaking the overall flow of the kitchen.
On one side, the lighter cabinetry keeps the main workspace bright and open. Meanwhile, the darker section frames the refrigerator wall and tall storage, which adds depth and structure to the layout.
Because both finishes were custom-selected and built in-house, the final result feels consistent rather than pieced together.
Full Project Description
Built for Everyday Family Use
Although the kitchen includes a small bar-style area, the primary focus remains on daily functionality. Therefore, every cabinet and drawer was planned around real use, not just appearance.
The island, for example, provides both storage and seating. One side integrates cabinetry, while the other allows space for bar stools, creating a natural gathering point without sacrificing usability.
In addition, open shelving and glass-front cabinets introduce accessible storage for everyday items. This keeps the space practical while still adding visual interest.
Custom Details That Define the Space
Several elements set this project apart from more standard kitchen layouts.
The Bertazzoni Heritage Series range acts as a focal point, bringing a strong visual anchor to the design. Around it, custom cabinetry ensures proper fit, alignment, and proportion.
At the same time, the refrigerator wall integrates built-in appliances with surrounding cabinetry, creating a clean and intentional look. Nearby, a compact beverage area includes an open shelving for glassware, which adds convenience without dominating the space.
Clear glass cabinet doors further enhance the design by breaking up solid fronts and adding depth.
Materials, Construction, and Hardware
All cabinetry in this project was designed, manufactured, and installed in-house. This allowed full control over proportions, finishes, and overall execution.
The shaker-style doors use high-quality laminated materials for durability and consistency. While natural wood can vary, this approach ensures a uniform finish across the entire kitchen.
Every cabinet is frameless, which maximizes interior space and creates clean lines. In addition, all doors and drawers use Blum soft-close hardware for smooth and reliable operation.
Extending the Design Beyond the Kitchen
In addition to the kitchen, we completed custom cabinetry in the master bathroom. These vanities feature a rustic white oak look with a warm, honey-toned stain.
Some elements follow a flat design, while others use a classic shaker profile. Because of this mix, the bathroom cabinetry complements the kitchen without repeating it exactly.
Fully Custom, Start to Finish
This project reflects our full-scope approach. We handled design, manufacturing, and installation, which allowed every detail to align from start to finish.
As a result, the final space feels cohesive, functional, and tailored to the home—not limited by standard cabinet sizes or off-the-shelf solutions.
