Custom Kitchen Cabinets in Salt Lake City
Rift White Oak Cabinetry with Custom Dark Stain
This custom kitchen cabinetry project in Salt Lake City combines clean design, warm materials, and practical storage. While the kitchen served as the main focus, the project extended beyond one room. In addition to the kitchen, we designed and built cabinetry for a pantry-style unit, hallway linen storage, and both the master and powder bathrooms.
As a result, the entire home feels consistent and well connected.
At the center of the space, we built custom kitchen cabinets in rift white oak and applied a deep chocolate brown stain. Because rift-cut oak has a straight and even grain, the cabinetry looks clean and structured while still feeling warm.
Full Project Description
Designed for a Compact, Efficient Layout
Even though the kitchen has a more compact layout, we used the space with care. Therefore, we designed every cabinet and drawer to improve function without adding clutter.
To achieve this, we included:
A base corner cabinet with pull-out shelves for easy access
Deep drawers for cookware and daily use
Dedicated storage zones for small appliances
Clean integration of fridge and beverage units
A panel-ready Cove dishwasher hidden within the cabinetry
Because of these choices, the kitchen feels open, organized, and easy to use.
Seamless Appliance Integration
Appliances play a big role in both design and function. For that reason, we fully integrated them into the cabinetry instead of letting them break the flow.
The kitchen includes:
A Wolf double range as the main focal point
Built-in refrigerator
Microwave and beverage fridge
Fully integrated panel-ready Cove dishwasher
As a result, the overall look stays clean and uninterrupted.
Frameless Cabinets and Reliable Hardware
We built all cabinetry using a frameless system, which creates cleaner lines and gives more usable space inside each cabinet. In addition, this method supports a modern look that fits the overall design.
We also installed Blum soft-close hardware in every drawer and door. Because of this, everything opens and closes smoothly and quietly.
Custom Details and Built-In Lighting
Small details make a big difference in daily use. For example, we added under-cabinet lighting to improve both function and mood. Although the lights are not visible in the photos due to an electrical issue outside our scope, we fully installed them as part of the project.
In the same way, we carefully aligned every cabinet to match surrounding surfaces. This approach creates a clean and finished look across the entire kitchen.
Full-Home Cabinetry Approach
The kitchen anchors the design; however, the project extends throughout the home. We also completed:
Pantry-style built-in storage
Hallway linen cabinets
Master bathroom cabinetry
Powder bathroom vanity
Because one team handled design, manufacturing, and installation, every space follows the same style and level of quality.
